Platinum Plus is the most comprehensive level of cover available today. It even includes:

  • Maximum 8 years old and 80,000 miles
  • Minimum vehicle purchase price is £2,500
RAC Platinum Plus Cover Includes
  • Wear and tear up to 80,000 miles
  • All mechanical and electrical items (parts, labour and VAT)
  • Any item that has failed due to the part reaching the end of its working life up to 8 years and 80,000 miles
  • The cost of one diagnostic charge up to £50 (including VAT) during the cover period

Why do I need an extended warranty?
We take a great pride in the preparation standard of our vehicles and make sure every vehicle is mechanically sound prior to sale. However, things can still go wrong in future. Cars are more complicated than ever, with over 3,000 components that can be expensive to replace
Can I extend my warranty at Cars & Vans for Sale?
Yes, we offer 12, 24 or 36 months extended warranty from RAC. Cover will start when you collect your vehicle or at the end of any balance of manufacturer's warranty
What is covered by the RAC Warranty offered at Cars & Vans for Sale?

Does RAC warranty include RAC Roadside cover?

Do I need to return my vehicle to Cars & Vans for Sale to use my RAC Warranty?
No. We would love to see you again but recognise that it is often better to have repairs done closer to home, where more convenient we recommend a member of the RAC National repair network.
Will RAC provide a courtesy car while mine is being repaired?
There is no hire car service provided. However, if the repair takes longer than 8 hours, you may be reimbursed for any hardship caused by not having your car. Full details can be found in the terms and conditions.
